Outside the run of their dramatic electro-pop hits, a-ha are masters of elegant understatement. While Morten Harket's voice remains a hugely emotive instrument, there's delicacy and calm in songs such as “Nothing Is Keeping You Here” and “I Wish I Cared,” in which swirling atmospherics and stately piano replace the stormy drama of their singles.
