Rock's toughest voice dukes it out with winning vulnerability.
Biografia dell'artista
In 1973, when Roger Daltrey embarked on a solo career, the Who may have been past their heyday, but they were still very popular. Nevertheless, Daltrey was eager to break away from the confines of the band that made him famous, yet remained very much driven by Pete Townshend. Daltrey put out a string of records in the '70s and '80s, singing with his trademark hard-rocking gusto. In 1980 he starred in the prison drama McVicar, the soundtrack of which included his anthemic "Free Me." In later years, Daltrey has divided his time between films, stage productions, and periodic Who reunions. ~ TiVo Staff
