This loopy comedy got a complementary soundtrack full of whimsical pre-Beatles pop like Shelly Fabares' "Johnny Angel" and Jimmy Soul's moderately sexist (and moderately obscure) "If You Wanna Be Happy." On the more serious side, there's Santo and Johnny's gorgeous instrumental "Sleepwalk" and Smokey Robinson's "You Really Got a Hold on Me." Cher, the film's star, gets into the act with new versions of "Baby I'm Yours" and "The Shoop Shoop Song." ~ Brian Mansfield, All Music Guide
