Pushing acceptable boundaries of what it means to be a "remix" album, the nine-track Still Life in Motion offers no less than five tracks lifted wholesale from BT's previous full-length, Movement in Still Life. Still, it's a good look at the most restless producer in the electronica world, quickly moving from post-millennial pop -- the opener "Shame," with a great hook but a few too many sops to mainstream production -- all the way to tech-house and nu-breaks, for "Madskillz-Mic Checka" (with Adam Freeland and Beber) and a new Plump DJs remix of his own "Smartbomb." Also exclusive are a pair of "Shame" remixes (a streamlined trance version by Way Out West and Bent's down tempo dub), plus Steve Lawler's mix of "Never Gonna Come Back Down." ~ John Bush, All Music Guide

Addicted Saving Abel |
| Hard to believe Saving Abel are only on their debut album release. Having been together since 2004 the Mississippi five piece have become big news on the American rock scene. Following in the sound and stylistic pathways of stalwarts such as 3 Doors Down and Shinedown, Saving Abel are perhaps not reinventing the wheel in terms of genre but first single ‘Addicted’ sees them happily joining the best in the business. ‘Addicted’ mixes epic rock with that familiar southern American snarling vocal – but the key to the songs success is the massive chorus, its hooks a plenty with a hint of sordid antics that brings the classic rock fans out in force to support this track. ©2008 Shazam Entertainment Limited.
