BEST ALBUMS 2006 #8 Stuart Murdoch’s arty bunch has been so consistently excellent for so long that it’s easy to take them for granted. “The Life Pursuit” stood out as one of the strongest song collections of the year and easily fitted among their best work; one of those rare albums in which every track could have been a single.
