Fresh from the most successful weekend in the festival's history Global Gathering drops its newest compilation which promises to bring back memories for those who attended while packaging all of the summer's biggest dance floor moments in to one shinny 3Cd package; useful for those who didn't attend. Split into three sections; "Electro," “Tech” and "Headliners" the CD aims to capture the mish-mash of musical styles provided at Global from the pop Dance of David Guetta to the straight up no messing around tech trance stylings of Pryda, both of who played storming sets at the weekend. Highlights include bonafide Festival tent shakers including Axwell's "I Found You," that was played by seemingly every DJ at the event to rapturous approval every time, and the Tong and Spoon's mix of Robyn's "With Every Heart Beat" which also proved to be one of the events most inescapable tracks. Despite the usual glut of dance compilations that have surfaced this summer the Global compilation does well to offer both the more commercial and underground sides of the dance scene in one package meaning that this could well be the one stop shop for those seeking to inject a reach for the lasers moment on to their I –pod or into their cars over the next few months.  shazam
