The outstanding track from Britney’s best album ever came out during a moment where the troubled star was reaching a new low in the downward spiral her life has just become. "Piece of me" is cleverly self-referential in its lyrics; spiked with sexy moans and a neat electro production that shaped it into a perfect piece of XXI century avant-pop. We just hope the success of her music doesn't fade away before our favourite all-American girl pulls herself together.
