After debuting to great acclaim with the instant smash that was "Run It", everybody wanted to see in young Chris Brown a sort of Michael Jackson's worthy successor. But the tepid reception earned by his second album, "Exception," hasn't yet fulfilled those high expectations. Despite having generated three singles to date, "Kiss Kiss" being the biggest of them; his second opus is already being given the new edition treatment, adding four new songs to the original tracklist. One of them, "Forever", with its mid-tempo beat and unimaginative vocoder vocals, reminiscent of Cher's "Believe" has been lifted as a single. It will surely become a new hit, pushed by urban radio stations, but it lacks of a true chart-topper's universal appeal.  shazam
