Dylan Mills has come a long way since winning the Mercury music prize with his startling grime tinged debut album "Boy In Da Corner." After embracing a more hip hop influenced sound and largely moving away from the "Grime" scene that nurtured his young talent Dizzee has now hooked up with Scottish electro popster Calvin Harris, another artist who largely works independently of the Dance scene he is associated with. In a recent interview Dizzee cited Kanye West's Daft Punk sampling "Stronger" as a major inspiration and with retro 80's synths and disco sweeps heavily included on "Dance With Me," this Dance/ US Rap influence is clear for all to see despite Dizzee's strong London flow. Those who loved Dizzee's paranoid, inner city ramblings, will no doubt shun the shiny pop sensibilities of "Dance With Me" (those fans have long since replaced Boy Better Know as their Grime heroes) but with summer on the way and Radio 1 already behind this expect the Dizzee/Calvin combo to be one of the big hits of the coming months.  shazam
