The trio from New York mellowed its alternative edge down and gained superstar status in the US during the late nineties, mostly due to this song, from the “City Of Angels” soundtrack, that stayed at the top of the Billboard charts for over four months. The band failed to translate that level of success across the Atlantic, but nearly a decade after its original release “Iris” is generating new buzz over here thanks to Ronan Keating covering it in his new single.
