NELLY FURTADO-Maneater The girl once praised as a female version of Beck has called production wizard Timbaland for a bit of sonic surgery, after her last effort’s tepid reception. The combination is no less than spectacular; likely to drag comparisons both with the electro pop of Goldfrapp and the chirpy vocals of M.I.A, Nelly Furtado has never sounded so sexy. If forthcoming album, Loose, is as good as this, we’ll certainly see her rising back to the top.  shazam
