Eagerly awaited by the millions of fans they made with “Hot Fuss”, The Killers return with newly grown beards and a shift in their sound, replacing cultish 80’s British rock influences for more mainstream 80’s US rock acts. Same decade, dodgier keyboards and an even more anthemic production that may help them fill bigger venues. The way of Springsteen, though, has been walked by many and is no short of dangers: it could lead the band into loosing their cool; sounding larger than life or becoming another example of adult oriented boredom.  shazam
