British industry's consensus about the artist most likely to make it big in 2008 is on this teenage girl from South London who, after a couple of singles, has just won the newly created critics' choice Brit award for new talent. Not a big surprise when you consider that 2007's biggest selling record was Amy Winehouse's and Adele shares with the former a powerfully soulful voice and a strong attitude. The metaphor about the pursuing of love contained in its lyrics, though, is leaving many confused; but that will only fuel further curiosity before her debut album, "19", hits the shops.  shazam
