Debbie rockt!

Based in the Baden-W�rttemberg area of Germany, the gritty, punky, and fun Debbie Rockt! is a five-girl band that came together in 2002 under the name Deep Mind, which was soon changed to Skylla. After two albums as Skylla and a couple personnel issues, they stabilized their line-up in 2006, changed their name to Debbie Rockt!, and made their national television debut on the popular German show VIVA Live. The Sony/BMG label released their first single, "Ich Rocke," in early 2007 but it was their second single -- a cover of Falco's "Nie Mehr Schule" -- that got them noticed.
