Alfie Alfie
Lily Allen

The final single from Lily Allen's debut album "Alright, Still" is a cheeky tune documenting the antics of her younger brother Alfie. The song skips along with a steady beat and the lyrics are quite entertaining as Lily pokes fun at how uncooperative her brother is. The theme and overall sound are classic Lily and run parallel with much of the other material on her first album. Its hilariously inappropriate puppet video only adds to the tongue-in-cheek message, which earnt Lily a #15 placing on the UK singles chart, beating out previous single 'Littlest Things' which only peaked at a rather disappointing #21. The song is simply fun, and is in no way supposed to be taken too seriously. It fits well with Lily's overall giggly persona. ~John Rowley. Copyright (c) Shazam Entertainment Limited 2009.
