Teaming up with the multi-cultural choir United Colours of Sound, UB40 recorded the anthem for the 2003 English Rugby Team and their race to win the Rugby World Cup. The team had long adopted the traditional "Swing Low" (often titled "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,") as their song, and here UB40 deliver a sweet and spiritual version, paced slow enough so a whole stadium can sing along. The single version is passionate and moving, while the a cappella version highlights the lush swell of voices during the chorus. With clips of the team in action, Rugby fans will find the bonus video essential, but a remix from Zion Train's Neil Perch doesn't add much. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi
