The Pussycat Dolls have carved out an enviable niche for themselves in the years since their 2005 debut. Arguably the biggest international girl group since the Spice Girls, PCD make use of just one of their five members' vocals in the vast majority of their tracks, with the other girls bringing the fun, sass and dancing skills. Lead singer Nicole Sherzinger is in possession of one of pop's most recognised voices, with her band having produced an impressive number of worldwide hits. One of the most memorable is 'Beep', featuring the super-prolific rapper Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas. 'Beep' uses the gimmick of that "beep" to leave certain parts of the song's racy chorus to the listener's imagination. This is an interesting concept, given that if the words covered by the beeps in the track were revealed, they would have been bleeped out by most radio stations anyway. The song's lyrics fit well with the band's less than demure image and make for an entertaining listen. 'Beep' was a big hit across the world, hitting the Top 3 in the UK, Australia, and much of Europe.
