Glamorous Glamorous
Fergie Feat. Ludacris

Having already produced two Top 5 US hits from her debut solo album "The Duchess", Fergie continued her phenomenal success with 'Glamorous', the album's third worldwide single. The track features rapper Ludacris and takes the tempo down a notch from her previous releases 'London Bridge' and 'Fergalicious'. It certainly has a more chilled feel to it, proving the songstress' versatility. Apart from introducing a new side to Fergie's repertoire, this track was also responsible for teaching both children and adults how to spell the word glamorous - as 'G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S-' makes up the song's primary hook. 'Glamorous' was another ubiquitous hit for Fergie, reaching the Top 10 in the UK and Australia, as well as becoming her second solo single to reach the pole position of the US charts. The song is difficult to define and box into one genre - it contains hints of rap, R'n'B, pop and even a slight tinge of electronica in places. Perhaps this mix of sounds is the reason for its widespread success and general likeability - with the probable exception of rock fans, 'Glamorous' was appreciated as a quality song by audiences from all corners of the globe. ~John Rowley.
