This set combines the five albums -- 1965's Mr. Tambourine Man and Turn! Turn! Turn!, 1966's Fifth Dimension, 1967's Younger Than Yesterday, and 1968's The Notorious Byrd Brothers -- that the Byrds released for Columbia Records with some semblance of the original lineup still intact, all with the bonus tracks that were included in Columbia's mid-2000 reissues. As such, it forms the heart and soul of this pivotal and important American band's recorded legacy.
