Calvin Harris

Calvin Harris, born Adam Richard Wiles, is a songwriter and electro musician from Dumfries in Scotland. The producer spearheaded a revival of 80's synth pop in British music and quickly became one of its main players. The antithesis of typical faceless dance producers, Harris has become equally known for eccentric personality. Whether storming the stage during X-Factor or posting irreverent links on his Twitter, Harris is a welcome addition to his genre .His second album 'Ready for the weekend' was released in 2009 and was the follow up to his successful first album 'I Created Disco' in 2007. This track 'Flashback', taken from "Ready For..." followed the ongoing disco trend, touching on styles such as 90's chill-out trance and euphoric techno. Both Eric Prydz and David Guetta have remixed the single, enhancing its eurodance appeal. ~Roberto González~ Copyright (c) Shazam Entertainment Limited 2009. All rights reserved. shazam
