Charm School is Roxette's eighth album and their first since 2001's Room Service, but apart from a slightly more modern production -- courtesy of Clarence Öfwerman and Christoffer Lundquist -- the ten-year break had little influence on the Swedish band's popular mixture of infectious pop, dance beats, rock hooks, and balladry. A massive success in several European countries (number one in Germany and Switzerland, number two in Austria and Sweden), the album features their hit single "She's Got Nothing On (But the Radio)."
