Every time Rosenstolz release a new album, their former producer Tom Müller offers a new compilation of material gathered from their first few albums: as in 2006 (Mondkuss) and 2008 (Traum Vom Fliegen), 2011's chart-topping Rosenstolz album Wir Sind am Leben is accompanied by another unofficial collection called Strahlende Nächte. The track listing of the two-CD compilation relies heavily on the group's 1994 album Nur Einmal Noch, but also offers some tracks from its 1995 follow-up, Mittwoch Is' Er Fällig.
