Since 1992, Oscar G and his five-piece band Grupo Sol have been popular Tejano performers and are noted for passionate and highly energetic performances on stage. Audiences also appreciate his versatile and powerful voice. Born in Eagle Pass, TX, Oscar has been interested in music most of his life. Grupo Sol is comprised of drummer Eddie Rivas, bass player Roger Contreras, keyboardist Martin Garcia, Lead guitarist Ernest Garcia, accordion player Xavier Trejo, and sax player Eddie Guerrero.
