How do I get the Shazam App?
We support every major platform including iPhone, Android, Java, Symbian, Brew, Windows Mobile and RIM. Dedicated Shazam applications are available on the Apple App Store, BlackBerry App World, Ovi Store by Nokia, Android Market and Windows Marketplace.
Shazam is currently available to users in over 200 countries on a wide range of platforms.

How do I Shazam a track?
Shazam is quick and simple to use:
1. Hold your phone towards the music and select Tag Now.
2. Within seconds, you’ll know the artist, track and other interesting info.
3. From the Tag Details you can buy it, check out the videos, get the lyrics, share it with friends - and more!
Where can I use Shazam?
Shazam can identify music anywhere: from the radio, TV, film or in a store, bar or club.
What type of music can I Shazam?
Shazam works with pre-recorded music and can recognize any track that's in its ten million strong database. Our in-house music team sources pre-release tracks and local music from over 100 countries, and Shazam's Tag Chart is constantly referenced by the music industry as a true indicator of market interest in pre-release material and a monitor of the hit potential of a track or artist.
Does Shazam work with live music?
Shazam only works with pre-recorded music - but it does work with recorded live sessions.
Can it identify humming?
Shazam only works with pre-recorded music. It can't identify humming, finger tapping or your toilet flushing!
