Finance Assistant

 

Due to expansion, we are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our vibrant finance department.

Candidates will have relevant AP experience with recent supervisory experience and a strong working knowledge and complete understanding of a full cycle Accounts Payable process.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

 

Multi-entity purchase ledger & cash book management

Purchase ledger accrual reporting  -

S/L Duties  -

Credit Control  -

Corporate mobile phone reconciliation & admin management

Credit card reconciliations  -

Prepayment reconciliation

Sign off of bi-monthly expenses and payment runs  -

Sign off on supplier statement rec’s delivered by AP assistant

Setting month tasks & providing ongoing support to AP assistants

The close down of all Purchase Ledgers to month end deadline  -

Accountable for the maintenance of all purchase ledger documentation and reports

Multi-entity/currency bank/petty cash reconciliations  -

Maintaining online purchase order system (Sicon-WAP)

Audit preparation

Demonstrate an ongoing and active commitment to review all tasks and procedures, to enable them to be undertaken more efficiently

Ad-hoc finance duties as and when required

 

Qualifications & Experience:


Previous Purchase Ledger experience minimum 3 years

Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

Highly organized

Attention to detail & accuracy

Ability to work under pressure

Pro-active

Sage200 experience

Excel skills (Intermediate)

Supervisory experience
