Shazam takes music discovery to a new level for Vodafone Germany customers
London, 09 October 2008 - Shazam, the world's leading mobile music discovery provider, today announced that its partnership with Vodafone Germany is expanding and Vodafone will now offer Shazam's innovative music discovery application alongside the already popular IVR service. The new application, MusicFinder with Shazam, allows users to capture music instantly on their handsets, share their new discoveries with friends, and purchase music products through the Vodafone Music Store.
Ralf Pluecker, Head of Music, Vodafone Germany explains: "Offering our customers the ability to discover music as soon as they hear a song has been a fantastic offering for our music service since 2003 and we are pleased to now provide our customers with a more in-depth and enhanced music experience. With recommendations for new music, track reviews, artist biographies and the ability to purchase tracks, albums, ringuptones and ringtones Shazam allows our customers to effortlessly capture and share their music without constraints."

Shazam has been working with Vodafone Germany since 2003. Users of the new MusicFinder with Shazam service will be able to access a vast database of more than six million tracks, with access to reviews, artist biographies and music videos.
