Norwegian Hip Hop duo Madcon poised for UK success

Madcon have highest new entry in the Shazam Tag Chart

London, 23 June 2008 - With more than one million tracks Tagged each week by Shazam users; the world's leading mobile to web music services provider, Shazam unveils a weekly UK Top 40 Tag Chart - a strong indicator of future hit singles.

Norwegian hip hop band MadCon storm into the Shazam Tag Chart with their single Beggin entering the chart at number 4. Originally performed by Franki Valli and The Four Seasons in 1967, Beggin has already topped the Norwegian charts and looks set for success in the UK.

Climbing up the chart from number twenty one to number seven is Kid Rock with his new single All Summer Long. Australian singer/ songwriter Gabriella Cillmi tops the chart for a second week in a row with Sweet About Me and making up the rest of the top five are Ne-Yo, Dizzee Rascal who climbs two places from last week and DJ NG.
