Shazam Comment on iPhone 5

“Apple has revolutionised the way in which we consume music, videos, and other digital content, and we at Shazam are proud to have played a role as one of iTunes’ top ten most downloaded apps since its launch. Our partnership with Apple has played a crucial role in growing Shazam’s global user base to 225 million, as many Shazam fans utilise their iPhones to engage with their favourite content, including music, TV shows and advertisements.

The iPhone 5 launch is very exciting for Shazam as its new features move the needle for digital content lovers. With features such as a larger 4-inch retina display, faster processing, and an increased number of microphones for better input, it’s clear that the iPhone 5 will continue the Apple media powerhouse legacy. For Shazam fans, these new features lend themselves to richer second- screen engagement with all forms of digital media, including music and video.
