Andrew Fisher, Chief Executive Officer

Andrew Fisher joined Shazam from InfoSpace Inc where he was European Managing Director. At InfoSpace Andrew led the company's significant European growth focusing on music and entertainment services for mobile operators and portal solutions for many leading online service providers. Over the past 14 years, Andrew has led the successful growth of a number of technology focused enterprises. He founded and was Managing Director of TDLI.com which was acquired by InfoSpace Inc with an enterprise value of $400m and was General Manager of Thomson Directories Business Ventures.



Doug Garland, Chief Revenue Officer

Doug Garland has a wealth of experience from more than 20 years working with the mobile and internet industry as a senior executive.  Before joining the team at Shazam, he was the VP of Product Management at Google where he led mobile and local advertising as well as syndication initiatives.  Prior to that, Doug held numerous senior positions at industry leading organisations including SVP at Yahoo! Mobile leading the launch of its broadband business, at Sprint PCS and PacTel/AirTouch during their early growth phases through IPO.  Doug has also served as an Executive in Residence at Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers.  At Shazam, Doug is responsible for all company revenues and partnering activities.

Keith Lovell, Chief Financial Officer

Keith Lovell brings over 15 years' experience gained from commercial, financial and management positions in a range of blue-chip, entrepreneurial and start-up organisations. Prior to Shazam at Extreme Mobile, Keith played an integral role in formulating commercial and financial plans for an MNVO venture with Vodafone. Previously, he was also responsible for all major network operator and supplier relationships at DX Communications Ltd and played a key role in negotiating the sale of the UK retail business to BT Cellnet, now 02.

Jason Titus, Chief Technology Officer

Jason Titus has extensive experience in engineering, product management and design in rapid-growth start-up organisations. Prior to Shazam, Jason was Vice President Communications (Mail, Messenger, PIM) at Yahoo!, where he held a number of key roles, eventually leading the entire design, product management/marketing and engineering for Yahoo's flagship communications products portfolio with over 300 million users. He managed a team of 550 people across the US, India, and China and led mobile development teams across a variety of platforms. Jason also co-founded and sold iAtlas to Alta Vista. At Shazam, he is responsible for Shazam's technology-driven operations and infrastructure.

Avery Wang, Founder and Chief Scientist

Avery Wang has over 20 years of industry experience designing high-performance multimedia signal processing systems for the consumer market and is the principal inventor of Shazam's recognition algorithms and other key technologies. Avery holds graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Stanford University, with a PhD at CCRMA on Auditory Source Separation. He also studied Computational Neurosciences on a Fulbright scholarship to Germany. At Shazam his responsibilities include innovation and intellectual property.

David Jones, Executive Vice President Marketing

David Jones has over 20 years experience in marketing, business development, and product and business strategy. Prior to joining Shazam, David held Vice President of Global Marketing and Global Product roles at Friendster. Previously, David was also the director of eBay's media and entertainment businesses in North America and also held several marketing and general management roles at eBay Inc, including roles focused on scaling the number of active members of the eBay community. At Shazam, he is responsible for consumer marketing, user growth and business intelligence.

Evan Krauss, Executive Vice President Advertising Sales

Evan Krauss brings more than 15 years experience in Internet, mobile and digital media. Prior to Shazam, Evan has built and managed some of the earliest and most successful Internet advertising teams at Excite, AOL, Looksmart and Yahoo!, where his last role was as Managing Director of Yahoo!'s Connected Life Business unit. Most recently Evan was SVP Global Ad Sales & Business Development, JumpTap Inc. At Shazam, He is responsible for global advertising sales and delivering customised marketing solutions for agencies, brands and broadcasters to 'Shazam' television programming, radio shows and commercials.

Alex Musil, Executive Vice President Product

Alex Musil has over 12 years experience in consumer internet product marketing. Prior to joining Shazam, Alex held management positions in both engineering and product management at leading internet companies, including Netscape, AOL and Yahoo. At Yahoo, Alex launched the first developer platforms for the industry-leading Mail and Messenger products as well as the first large-scale IM interoperability service with MSN. Most recently he led the product team at Photobucket, where he was responsible for product management and design. At Shazam, Alex is responsible for product strategy, roadmap and user experience.


Beatrice Farina, Vice President Marketing Communications

Beatrice Farina has extensive marketing experience including more than 10 years in the telecommunications market and more recently in the mobile to web2 space. She is a Marketing Communications Specialist for Brand, PR, Digital Media, Events and Communications (B2B, B2C & D2C) having worked previously for blue-chip, entrepreneurial and start-up organisations such as SpinVox, Canon, Marconi, and MSI. As part of her extensive career, Beatrice has also established and successfully managed her own marketing consultancy. Prior to Shazam, she was Marketing Communications Director at SpinVox. At Shazam, Beatrice is responsible for brand strategy, channel marketing, PR and communications.

Bridget Kerle, General Counsel

Bridget Kerle has more than 30 years experience working with companies in the software, microprocessor and telecoms industries. Prior to joining Shazam, Bridget was CFO and General Counsel of Texperts, the text messaging company, which was sold to kgb in 2008. Previously, Bridget was CFO and General Counsel of Plastic Logic and has held several roles with innovative growth and start up companies. At Shazam, she serves as Company Secretary and heads our legal team.
