We Three Kings

We Three Kings

The Dingees

A Christian ska-punk band from the Orange County, CA area, the Dingees grew out of a summer-1996 side project by members of the Supertones and several of their friends. Founding members Pegleg (vocals) and Dave Chevalier (sax) recruited bassist Bean and drummer Tony Terusa (bassist for the Supertones), in addition to Supertones member Bronson on guitar and two friends from the Orange County scene, trombonist Jon Bon and guitarist Jeff Holmes. Local gigs and a record deal followed, but membership upheavals ensued as the Supertones' touring commitments increased; drummer Ethan Luck joined Pegleg, Bean and Jeff Holmes for the Dingees' 1998 debut album, Armageddon Massive. More personnel shifts followed, with Chevalier rejoining the band and Holmes departing first in favor of Brad, then Aaron. Second album Sundown to Midnight followed in 1999. Crucial Conspiracy was issued two years later. ~ Steve Huey, Rovi
