Shazam's Review

Rob Thomas is probably best known for being the lead singer of multi-million selling act Matchbox Twenty and helping out guitar legend Carlos Santana on his 1999 album 'Supernatural'. He is also quite a prolific songwriter and has penned tunes for Mick Jagger, Willie Nelson and Daughtry among others. 'Little Wonders' was written specifically for the soundtrack of the 2007 animated Disney film 'Meet The Robinsons' and consequently doesn't feature on any of Thomas's own albums. Kicking off with chiming guitars that U2's The Edge would be proud of, the vocals come in before the relatively muted backing track shifts into gear with the addition of bass and drums. Thomas's vocals take centre stage and although the lyrics are pretty forgettable, he works enough hooks into the track to keep the listener engaged. The guitars from the intro work well in the chorus, adding an atmospheric touch towards the end of the song. A satisfying, if not ground-breaking, performance. ~Martin Gadgil.
