Straight out of Atlanta, Georgia, Jeffrey Johnson Jr. has fared infinitely better under his recording title (and old school superhero homage) of Roscoe Dash. Clawing his way to the very top of DJ playlists from Atlanta's Capitol Homes projects thanks to the breakout success of 'All The Way Turnt Up', he's brought one of the most polarising figures in hip hop - Soulja Boy Tell 'Em - along for the ride.
Taken from 2010 debut album 'Ready Set Go', regal horns and marching drums collide over processed beats that cut through the speakers like a hot knife through butter as the duo boast that they're "all the way turnt (sic) up" on a hook that's as insistent as it is simple.
Spitting a verse that sees him imploring for the "DJ turn me up, crank me to the max/I got lots of dollars, I be blowin' stacks", given the speed with which his star is rising, those lines could well be very prophetic indeed.
