Drum 'n' Bass never faded away completely, but long gone the days when it was taking the clubs by storm, it seemed to have reached its use by date and remained confined into a limited niche of underground clubs and radio shows. Recent developments show that a rebirth into the mainstream may be on its way: first with Pendulum's distinctive hybrid of D&B and rock hit the charts; and now with Liverpool producer Nick Douwma (better known as Sub Focus), a rising star who's released a couple of singles in the specialist Ram label, gaining support from big players such as Zane Lowe or The Prodigy, for whom he remixed their classic "Smack my bitch up." "Timewarp" is a banging monster of a tune; strong enough as to become Sub Focus' big break and inject new life into the whole genre.  shazam
