Ian Carey is a former American hip-hop DJ from Maryland who after discovering house music, moved to Europe in search of an international push for his work. His first single "Rise" was a hit in the UK clubs, but this one could be his global passport, having already conquered the Antipodean charts, where it stayed at number two for weeks with only The Fray preventing it from getting all the way to the top. 'Get Shaky's' faux start as a rock track shortly morphs into an electro-tinged floorfiller when its chorus kicks in. It's already being hailed as this year's 'Bodyrox', with which it shares a rather similar sound.
