Beyoncé Knowles, more often referred to simply as Beyoncé, is an American singer who originally found fame in R&B girl group Destiny's Child. Since going solo she has built year by year on her considerable success. The single 'Sweet Dreams' was the 6th single to be taken from her third studio album 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' released in 2008. Sasha Fierce is the name Beyonce gives her alter-ego that she becomes when she goes on stage. 'Sweet Dreams' has a pounding bassline, a killer chorus and great lyrics. All rights reserved. shazam  shazam Beyoncé has taken to fame and super-stardom like a duck to water. She oozes class and hasn't deviated from the musical path she has decided to journey upon. She's happy to be an individual artist, but yet is modest and never forgets her roots. And what a genesis she has had: it started with one of the best R&B groups of all time in Destiny's Child! She has progressed to experimenting with many different styles on the 'I Am Sasha Fierce' album, from great pop songs ('If I Were A Boy') and house party favourites ('Single Ladies') to radio-friendly power ballads ('Halo'). This new effort sees her venture into Gaga electro-pop territory. It has a pounding bassline with a killer chorus and great lyrics which question whether her fantasy is, after all, 'a beautiful nightmare'. If it was not so polished production-wise, one may think there was trouble in paradise for this talented singer songwriter. One look at the video, though, makes you realise she's ok: the same two backing dancers from her previous music promos seem to be having a great time displaying the tricky choreography and gymnastics which have taken twirling and whirling in videos to a whole new level.
