Third and arguably best single to date by this promising electro-pop duo from London, currently immersed in next big thing media hype after 'In it for the kill', helped by Scream's darkly atmospheric remix, topped the British charts and surpassed even the most optimistic forecasts. 'Bulletproof' sounds like an instant classic that could proudly stand up next to the most popular hits from such genre pioneers as Erasure or Yazoo. It is nicely paving the way for La Roux's imminent, same-titled debut to become one of the best selling records of 2009. Another dubstep remix, this time coming from Foamo's skilled hands, wisely makes the track morph into an irresistible, echoing dance stormer.
