Cherona is a children's pop band from Germany that made its debut in 2009 in association with the television station Super RTL. Founded in 2009 in Cologne, Germany, the band is comprised of vocalists Vicky Chassioti (born August 12, 1991), David Petters (born July 24, 1986), Milla Chernysheva (born December 1, 1983), and Enrico Yakubu Bade (born November 2, 1987). Cherona made their commercial recording debut in 2009 with "Ching Chang Chong," the lead single from their full-length album debut, Sound of Cherona, released in association with Sony Music. Comprised of English-language songs oriented toward children, Sound of Cherona was popular throughout the German-language world, reaching the Top Ten of the albums chart in Austria, the Top 20 in Germany, and the Top 30 in Switzerland.
