Following in the footsteps of Edward 'Stereo Love' Maya, Inna (aka Elena Alexandra Apostoleanu) is intent on assisting with carrying on the baton of next generation Romanian dance pop. Taken from the 2009 album of the same name, 'Hot' is a cloud-clearing, sky-soaring clubland anthem that has already scorched its way through the majority of Europe. Produced by the trio of Radu Bolfea, Sebastian Barac and Marcel Botezan from Play & Win, 'Hot' has already topped charts in Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Spain and Turkey and made serious inroads on the American national chart as well. Wrapping her sensual, luscious vocals around a subtle backing beat that takes its cue from techno's formative years as much as it does deep house, blipping synthesiser hits and breezy beats provide the perfect accompaniment for Inna as the twenty three year old channels her inner Kylie Minogue, cooing and shimmying across the track.
