After scoring his first Top 10 hit with "Diamond Rings" and taking a short break in order to pass his A-level exams, Chipmunk is back to focus in what's looking like a very promising music career. The north London rapper is following the same path of other current chart busting young acts such as Tynchy Styder or DJ Ironik; going from streetwise grime artists to urban Pop stars and raising the standards of British R&B in the process by helping it lose its 'America's humbler distant cousin' complex. "Oopsy Daisy" has a wider commercial appeal than Chipmunk's former singles. Through a duet with guest vocalist Miss Dee over a piano hook and waves of layered synths, it deals with the typical subject of a troubled relationship without visiting the land of lyrical cliché.
