'The Singles Collection' following up from 2004's "Greatest Hits - My Prerogative". The lead single from 'The Singles Collection' was previously unreleased track '3', an electronically-charged number written by Max Martin, the man behind other Britney classics such as '...Baby One More Time' and 'Oops!...I Did it Again'. The song debuted at number one in the U.S. and Canada and entered the top ten in many other countries. '3' became a huge commercial success with virtually no promotion, indicative of how popular Ms Spears is.
