Without fanfare, Danish guitarist Mikkel Ploug has amassed an impressive discography, including two ensemble albums featuring renowned tenor saxophonist Mark Turner. On Faroe, the follow-up to his solo steel-string acoustic tour de force Alleviation from 2017, Ploug reconnects with Turner in a duo setting.
