Both James albums were originally intended to be released as a single double album, with Laid representing the group's more song-oriented side and Wah Wah the more experimental or “jamming” side. Both were recorded during a six-week period at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Complex with producer Brian Eno. This super-deluxe edition features the original albums plus extensive demos, live tracks, radio sessions, B-sides, and rarities, many never before released.
