After many years of leading folk-fusion band Swarathma, singer/songwriter Vasu Dixit goes solo. Inspired by revered Kannada poets and their timeless wisdom, the singer/songwriter adds his own voice as one of reason and carefree living. He employs fusion instrumentation on “Kelabyada" and “Mullu”, and uses electronics for "Agalla Anbeda”, but lyrics are his centrepiece. With words by poet Purandara Dasa, the infectious strum-and-hum of "Ragi Tandira" is instant earworm material. Meanwhile, "Puksatte Life" pulls on reggae grooves, and "Mysuru" is a folksy ode to his hometown.
