For his composing debut, Sid Sriram plays up the slice-of-life elements in this family drama while retaining his unique voice. He draws on the expertise of experienced musicians like guitarist Sanjeev T, singer Shakthisree Gopalan and Anthony Daasan for evocative R&B (“Easy Come Easy Go”), experimental, dark takes (“Poova Thailayaa”) and adds depth with cinematic string arrangements and powerful duets. The new composer also adds some warmth to the soundtrack with the summery, buoyant reverie “Thinam Thinam”.
