Greywind
Afterthoughts
Album · Alternative · 2017 · Greywind
They hail from a striking Irish lakeside town and there’s more than a hint of elemental drama to the music on this debut from sibling duo Steph and Paul O’Sullivan. The title track is a case in point. Tender and intimate before giving way to rock-crusher guitars, it sits neatly next to the loud-quiet majesty of “Stitch on My Wings” and “Car Spin” which—fittingly for a band named after a fictional direwolf—has real fangs.
