Intocable
2011
Album · Música Mexicana · 2011 · 2020 Good i Music
By 2011, Intocable were well established as Mexican superstars, crossing over into pop success without straying too far from their Tejano roots. Intocable 2011 is especially heavy on upbeat dance numbers. Some, like "Aunque Estes Lejos," feature the polka rhythms of classic norteño; others, like the impassioned "Solo Pienso en Tu Amor," have anthemic choruses and rock-inspired lead guitar. Even on the rock numbers, frontman Ricky Muñoz lets his fingers fly on the accordion. The one ballad, "Callada," finds his tenor at its smoothest.
