Clamorous guitars can’t disguise the youthful glow of this duo’s tuneful alt-rock. The partnership between Toronto indie vets Laura Germiston and Brian Borchedt blends the best aspects of ‘80s shoegaze and ‘90s alternative. Fans of The Jesus and Mary Chain will be seduced as soon as they hear Germiston’s heavenly voice emanating through the clouds of dangerous-but-dreamy guitar.
