Punjabi pop star Gippy Grewal is as well known as a singer as he is an actor. Yet apart from a handful of stand-alone singles, most of his releases over the past few years have been contributions to his own film soundtracks. Ride With Me, in fact, is his first full-length since 2021’s Limited Edition. While that 24-track set boasted a few ballads, this album finds the artist in a celebratory mood. Its 13 uptempo tunes—clocking in at under 30 minutes—play like a non-stop party as Grewal’s vigorous vocals set the mood for a spot of driving, dancing or—in the case of “Kurti”—playful romancing.
