The singer, songwriter, electronic music producer and actor—aka Kavya Trehan—could be addressing a lover, spiritual power or even herself, for on this EP she surrenders her more mainstream pop and R&B influences to immerse herself in what she describes as a “celebration of unfiltered sonic maximalism”. The result is her most thoughtful work yet, a dreamy set of lushly layered tunes that present a sense of calmness even when addressing anxieties.
