His career may have started back in the 2010s but Ahmedabad rapper Siyaahi’s breakout year was 2024—when he was a finalist on Season 4 of hip-hop talent show MTV Hustle. On his 2025 mixtape SULTANATE, he features a handful of fellow contestants and judges from that season alongside a bevy of other talent. The 11-track record is largely produced by go-to beatsmith ACHARYA—and fellow Ahmedabad rap titan Dhanji also makes an appearance on the playful “Tata Indica”. Siyaahi pushes boundaries on the LP, particularly on the frenzied “Terrible Wishlists” with Ikka and the gritty “Soch Lo” with Raga.
